The Argenta Arts Foundation builds local amenities and events, to promote the creative opportunities for citizens of Central Arkansas. We showcase the creative assets, environment and people of Central Arkansas on a Regional and National basis. Our Foundation is focused on bringing an understanding and appreciation of the myriad of artistic talents in our community. Through support of events such as 3rd Friday Art Walk and Artweek ’10, AAF showcases the achievements and varied talents of artists for the enjoyment of all of our residents and visitors alike.
The Argenta Arts District is set in the historic heart of downtown North Little Rock. The District is filled with Art Galleries, Artist Studio’s, an Arts Foundation, a Community Theater, Chef driven Restaurants, a Farmer’s Market and Neighborhood Grocery, eclectic shopping, pocket parks and more to relax and rejuvenate.
Commitment to the Visual, Performance, Landscape and Culinary Arts are evident throughout. A school for Creative Arts, a Children’s Gallery, hanging floral baskets, fresh baked breads, [astries, vintage and antique shopping all within several easily walkable blocks. The Argenta Arts District is easy access from all Downtown hotels by foot or trolley. We hope to see you soon!
Check out our latest venture: www.argentaartconnection.org. Art Connection is an after school and summer job training program for teenagers in North Little Rock. Our mission is to provide a path for under-resourced youth to achieve higher education, citizen leadership and self sufficiency through paid employment in the creative economy. Our new program began June 25, 2012.
