William F. Laman Library Outdoor Space Renovation
To continue the restoration and growth of the Argenta community, the Argenta Downtown Council presents the conceptual proposal for the William F. Laman Argenta Branch Public Library outdoor space renovation. The ADC is excited to share the conceptual plans with you! We will keep you updated as to the progress of the project. The U.S. Constitution mandates that everyone in the country be counted every 10 years. The results of the census count will be used to reapportion the House of Representatives, re-draw boundaries of congressional and state legislative districts and to determine the distribution of over $675 billion in federal funds and grants. This money is spent on schools, hospitals, roads, public works, and other vital programs. Businesses use the census data to decide where to build, which creates jobs locally. Local government uses the data for public safety and emergency preparedness. Real estate developers use the information to build new homes and revitalize old neighborhoods.
